I'm an Astrophysics student, at the University of Victoria in Canada, who has played professional chess from ages 12-15yrs old, earning a peak FIDE rating of 1862. I started teaching chess in 2023 during an academic break. Professional chess coaching has been a fulfilling endeavor that I wish to continue forever.
 
Having grown up in a large family, I was always around kids and loved spending time with them. The opportunity I have, to teach and nurture kids, is one I cherish and take very seriously. My main mantra is to help kids build their love and passion for the game. My students have enjoyed plenty of success under my guidance 

Apart from teaching and academics, I love to run, cycle, go on hikes/treks and learn about the world and universe we live in.
