I mainly use the structured and proven steps method to introduce many early concepts of the game and to develop a student's skill. My classes are setup to be very engaging whether they are online or in-person. I firmly believe every kid has their own path of learning - thus I make my classes very tailored to the particular student(s). A lot of my teaching also comes in the from meticulous analysis with the student, of almost every game of chess they play. I draw from my own journey as a professional player to guide and mentor my students. I tend to form a good friendship with my students and their parents which helps me teach and guide the student better. Every kid leaves my class with a smile on their face and new ideas on how to play chess.
